Track 1
URBS JERUSALEM BEATA
This song is definitely sang heavily if not in total by male vocals, the different pitches used in the song can be heard clearly. The song is Homo phonic , as everyone is singing a melody moved together in Harmony.
The song is very likely to be sang in a church or cathedral, this causes the sound to travel around and create and echo. Due to the structure of a cathedral the sound waves will travel around and will hit the walls on a soft manner as the isn't that much wind, what makes them travel back creating an echo. They use of microphones is absent
Track 2
SUMER IS ICUMEN IN
The song is sang by three people, two female one male, they are all singing a Mono phonic song, they are all singing the same notes, at times in different octaves but the notes sequence is the same.
They are singing outdoors, there is a lot of background noise, as they are singing on a park near a main road, it is windy out there, and you can hear the wind interfering with the sound and the recording, as the wind obstructs sound waves to travel smoothly, also the microphone of the recording device, it is not condensed but dynamic , thing that will catch a lot of extra noise.
The sound is very loud and causes and unnecessary distortion, and there is not reverb or echo.
Track 3
WHOLE LOTTA LOVE
This song is sang/played by an amazing band ( sorry i had to say it ), the song is Polyphonic, even thought all the guitars might be playing the same notes and chords we have couple of extra instruments here, like the drums, which is tuned into a key but it is not pitched to a note.
This performance is taking place at the Royal Albert Hall , it is easy to hear background noise made the people cheering and clapping, but this is a closed venue , thing that doesn't let the sound travel far and make it sound with a echoed, this is because there is people in the crowd , they are bodies, they have heat, there fore they will consume energy and the sound waves, they break once they hit the people and the acoustics of the venue.
